Brotherhood
The Brotherhood of Southside Baptist Church is Baptist Men on Mission. Baptist Men
On Mission (BMEN) are the men of the church taking seriously God’s call to be the
husbands, fathers, mentors and churchmen who He has charged them to be. Being a
godly man is the foundation to being part of the Baptist Men On Mission, because a
godly man will be a godly husband, a godly father, and a godly mentor.
My mission as a Baptist Man On Mission is to:
Ø Worship God with all my life.
Ø Obey Christ by serving others through my church.
Ø Resolve to build relationships that strengthen my family and my church.
Ø Keep my commitment to join other men in God’s mission.
Ø The Brotherhood meets each 3rd Sunday at 7:00 am in the Fellowship Hall of
the Family Life Center for breakfast and a guest speaker.
Ø The Brotherhood sponsors our Royal Ambassadors® (RAs®) a Bible-
centered, church-based, Southern Baptist mission education organization
for boys, grades 1–6. They meet each Wednesday night from 6:00—7:00 pm
upstairs in the Family Life Center in the RA room.
Ø Members of our Brotherhood traveled to Haiti in 2011 and plan to return in
2011. Lowe Dillard is our Brotherhood Director.
