College Ministry at Southside Baptist Church

During our regular business session in September 2011, Southside Baptist Church formed a Student Minister Search Committee and empowered this committee to search out and bring before our church for a vote, our next full-time Student Minister. This committee has worked tirelessly since September, advertising for this position, studying over the resumes we received, and now closing in on interviewing prospective Student Ministers. Please continue to pray for this committee: Royce Sightler (chairperson), Steve Godwin (vice-chairperson), Susan Maddox (secretary), Beth Dean, Todd Nichols, Jamie Hawkins, and Shirley Smith. The Student Minister Search Committee has narrowed down the list of candidates to their top five and soon will have it narrowed down to the top three. They will soon have phone interviews with the top candidates. Continue to pray for this committee and our church as God moves to bring Southside Baptist Church her next Student Minister.
